We begin with a detailed discussion of your golf goals, injury history, and any areas of pain or limitation. This ensures your session is focused on what matters most to your performance and comfort.
The Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) is a movement-based model that links a golfer’s physical profile—mobility, stability, strength and motor control—to swing mechanics and injury risk. Rather than just fixing the swing, TPI asks: “What physical limitations are causing this swing fault or pain?” By identifying and correcting those physical drivers, golfers move better, swing more efficiently, reduce pain, and often add distance and consistency.

Full-body assessment using TPI protocols (mobility, stability, sequencing, power). Identifies the physical factors driving your swing faults and injury risk, and sets an objective baseline.
Targeted mobility, stability, and motor-control drills tailored to your screen results and swing style—built to be swing-compatible, not just “general fitness.”
Hands-on treatment for joint restrictions and soft-tissue dysfunction (spine, hips, shoulders), integrated with exercises for durable changes in movement quality.
We match the swing to your body—improving efficiency, consistency, and feel without forcing a one-size-fits-all model.
Early risk detection + targeted correctives reduce pain and help you play more, longer, and with fewer setbacks.
Marcel graduated from the University of Moncton with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology (2005) and earned his physiotherapy degree from Université Laval in 2009. He recently opened a new clinic that operates using the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) model. Using the TPI model, he links physical movement limitations(mobility, stability, strength, and motor control) to help with swing mechanics and reduced injury risk, creating individualized rehab and performance plans for golfers of all levels.

We begin with a detailed discussion of your golf goals, injury history, and any areas of pain or limitation. This ensures your session is focused on what matters most to your performance and comfort.
I perform the complete 16-test TPI movement screen to evaluate your mobility, stability, balance, sequencing, and power. These tests highlight key areas that influence your swing mechanics and overall movement efficiency.
After completing the movement screen, we transition to a
high-tech golf simulator where you’ll hit several shots under
real-game conditions.
This setup allows for precise real-time analysis of your
swing—capturing club speed, impact angle, and swing path data.
Together, we review the results to pinpoint specific movement
inefficiencies or physical limitations affecting your technique,
connecting your body mechanics directly to your swing
performance.
Using the results of your assessments, I develop a personalized
exercise program designed to improve your mobility, stability,
and motor control—each directly linked to your swing mechanics.
During the session, we practice targeted corrective drills,
including mobility stretches, stability work, and swing-specific
exercises that you can easily continue at home or on the range
to reinforce long-term progress.
When needed, I incorporate manual therapy techniques such as
joint mobilizations and soft-tissue release to restore mobility,
reduce pain, and enhance movement quality.
We then translate these physical improvements to your on-course
performance, discussing tailored warm-ups, shot setup
adjustments, and injury-prevention strategies to help you move
efficiently and play with confidence.
